Nonacus Ltd is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 27001 certification for its innovative cloud-based GALEAS software and panel design tool.
Nonacus, a provider of innovative genomic products including GALEAS a cloud-based software, is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). This certification demonstrates the commitment Nonacus is making to maintain the highest standards of information security and protect the sensitive data of its customers.
Berit Reglar, General Counsel and Data Protection Officer for Nonacus said “We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved ISO27001-2022 accreditation for our cloud-based software, GALEAS, and our panel design tool. This reflects our ongoing commitment to data security and provides our customers with the peace of mind that our processes withstand external, rigorous scrutiny and comply with regulatory standards."
ISO 27001 is the leading international standard dedicated to information security, setting the benchmark for organisations worldwide. The ISO 27001 framework sets out requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, and continually improving an ISMS. The certification process involved a rigorous audit by BSI, which verified that Nonacus meets all the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard.
"I’m delighted that we have gone the extra mile to safeguard our customer’s data” said Jeff Bousfield, CEO of Nonacus. “We want our customers to have the highest level of trust and confidence in our GALEAS products, after all the data they are generating will ultimately be changing people’s lives for the better."
Nonacus provides genomic solutions for healthcare providers and researchers worldwide specialising in assays for liquid biopsy. This includes the provision of cloud-based software for the analysis of complex DNA variants and for assay design. The ISO 27001 certification ensures that Nonacus has implemented robust information and security measures to protect customer data held in the cloud, including encryption, access controls, monitoring risks and regular security audits.
“Our customers rely on us to handle their sensitive information with the utmost care,” added Sam Clokie, Director of Bioinformatics and Software. “27001 certification reinforces our promise to safeguard their data and maintain the integrity of our information security practices.”
